Cookie and Storage Policy
Lugh sets no cookies. This page explains the one thing we do store on your device, and why there is no consent banner in your way.

The short answer
lughonline.com does not use cookies. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no social media buttons phoning home, and nothing that follows you to another website.
One small preference is stored in your browser, and two security and measurement services run on the site. All three are covered below.
What is stored on your device
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| lugh-lang | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose English or Spanish, so the site opens in your language next time. It holds one value: "en" or "es". | Stays until you clear your browser storage |
That is the complete list. It contains no identifier, nothing about who you are, and nothing that can be read by another website.
How we measure traffic
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see whether the site works — how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they are, and how fast the pages load.
It is deliberately chosen because it does this without cookies and without building a profile. It creates no identifier for you, cannot recognise you on a return visit, and cannot see anything you do on any other website.
The security check on the audit form
The audit form runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which confirms a real browser is submitting the form rather than a script. The audit is free and requires no account, so without this it would be trivial to run at our expense.
Turnstile may store a short-lived token in your browser to remember that the check already passed. This is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for, and it is not used to track you.
Fonts and other external resources
We serve our own fonts from our own domain. Many sites load fonts from Google, which sends every visitor’s IP address to Google on every page view. We host them ourselves specifically to avoid that.
There are no embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or social media plugins on this site.
Clearing what is stored
Your browser’s "clear browsing data" or "clear site data" option removes the language preference. The site will simply open in English next time and let you choose again. Nothing else about your visit is stored on your device.
